Forthcoming Events
The conferences follow themes and proceeds alongside developments in Scotland. Our aim is to keep it "live and fresh" and seen as a means of updating oneself on the topic but also to offer support and information on local and national developments.
The conferences encourage networking within and between NHS Boards regardless of professional or otherwise identities. We have had examples of people finding out for the first time what is going on in their own area by attending the meeting.
The format of three meetings a year covering each of the main focus areas (treatment, education, users and carers and research) has been successful. We attempt to involve in some way all of the professional groups, voluntary organisations and users and carers which has then been reflected in the audience.
