Empathy in Mind is an Edinburgh carer-led Group which offers a safe and confidential space for any carer who may be experiencing the challenging behaviours associated with mental health difficulties.
The Group meets from 10:30 to 12:30, usually on the third Tuesday of the month.
Provide information, advice and support to anyone who cares for a relative or friend. They also aim to raise awareness of the needs of Carers and the contribution they make to care in the community.
Provides services and support for mental health, learning disabilities, dementia and alcohol issues.
Provides links to many services and organisations that can offer you support with mental ill health in your region.
Work to improve the wellbeing and quality of life of those affected by schizophrenia and other mental illness, including families and carers.
Provides support and empowerment to ensure that people who have mental illness, dementia or learning disabilities, and their carers, get their voices heard and, as a result, see positive changes in their service provision.
