Research has an important contribution to our understanding of personality disorder and evaluating which interventions might benefit service users.� We�have�had�regular�presentations�of�projects�in�Scotland, England�and�Wales ( see the past conferences�link�to read presentations).��

�The Personality Disorder Institute� based at the University of Nottingham, UK�aims to build multi-disciplinary research and development capacity capable of driving the field. It�has�a�useful�website�for�anyone�interested�in�research�in�Personality�Disorder which�contains�extensive reviews of current literature as well as up to date information on the English projects.��
